Intended use

The iFIND System is a fully integrated, automated nucleic acid detection and analysis platform based on microfluidic technology. It integrates sample processing, nucleic acid extraction and purification, amplification, and fluorescence detection in a closed cartridge with pre-loaded lyophilized reagents.

Models: iFIND S2 (2-sample, 260×320×365 mm, 15 kg), iFIND S4 (4-sample, 370×320×365 mm, 27 kg), iFIND S8 (8-sample, 650×320×365 mm, 50 kg).

Throughput: 16/32/64 samples in 8 hours (S2/S4/S8). Random-access modules operate independently for on-demand testing.

Power supply: 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz.

Amplification: Nested PCR with multiplex molecular beacon probe and melting curve analysis. 6-channel fluorescence (FAM, ROX, VIC, CY5, CY5.5, Atto 425).

Temperature control: Peltier-based, heating rate ≥11.5 °C/s, cooling rate ≥9.5 °C/s, accuracy ±0.1 °C.

Sample extraction: Built-in ultrasonication with automated microfiltration membrane adsorption purification.

Reagent storage: Lyophilized reagent beads, 2–28 °C, stable for up to 2 years at room temperature.

LIS connectivity: HL7 protocol.
